At the reception we attended as Aksan Law Firm, J.P. Singh, Consul General of India in Istanbul; Ahmet Hamdi Usta, Deputy Governor of Istanbul; Nishimaki Hisao, Consul General of Japan in Istanbul; Paulo Roberto Caminha de Castilhos França, Consul General of Brazil in Istanbul; Tevfik Dönmez, Chairman of DEIK Turkey – India Business Council were among those attending the night.
Indian Consul General and the Deputy Governor both drew attention to the cultural and commercial potential between the two countries by also emphasizing the meaning and importance of the day during their speeches. After the speeches, Indian dance performances were held and various of local Indian food were served to the guests.
