As Aksan Law Firm we are pleased to annonunce that Sworn Fiscal Advisor Mehmet Maç has joined us a “Consultant” in our Tax Department as of September 2022.
Mehmet Maç has started his business life in Revenue Administration in 1980 as Tax Inspector. After 6 years in Revenue Administration, he established BDO Turkey and worked more than 40 years as a Tax Partner mainly responsible for tax audit, tax certification and tax advisory. He also has deep knowledge on mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring and tax litigation.
He has published Value Added Tax (1991), Corporate Tax (1995) and Inheritance Tax and Death (1999) which are deemed as important literatural works. He also published a lot of papers and articles.
Mr. Maç is a member of Istanbul YMM Odası TURMOB, Tax Inspectors Association, Tax Inspectors Foundation and TUSIAD Tax Working Group.
He is a graduate of Istanbul University Business Administration Department.
