Within the scope of the COVID-19 combat, the suspension period in legal proceedings regulated under the Provisional Article 1 of the Law on the Amendment of Certain Laws numbered 7226 has been extended from May 1, 2020 (inclusive) to June 15, 2020 (inclusive) with the Presidential Decree published on the Official Gazette numbered 31114 and dated April 30, 2020 enforcing “the Resolution Prolonging Suspension Period in Legal Proceedings to Avoid any Loss of Legal Rights” by reserving further assessments in the meanwhile in case it is no longer necessary to maintain any measure due to elimination of COVID-19 spreading.
